
Much like in New Vegas where you can choose between one perk or another for your companion in their companion quest that affects their performance and their ending so too will the reputation quest affect the faction. As in if you are idolized by a certain group, you unlock a faction specific sidequest that, if completed will benefit you in a particular way or another. There should also be reputation based perks with the factions you side with. Okay, after reading the wiki, I have decided that the Enclave armor stats are:ĭam resist/Eng resist/Rad resist/Weight/Value Of course I barely know how it would work in Fallout 4 system as I only have New Vegas except that they won't break or wear down and that the skill system is gone so you rely on perks. Guns +6 (because of all the ammo pouches),Ģ0% rad resist (cause they still don't like the idea of ghoulification)



I said common foot soldier because with all the losses they've suffered throughout the games, its a safe bet that (if they no longer view people outside their gene pool as mutants fit for nothing but death, or at least as subjects who need to prove themselves to wear power armor) they have taken to recruiting from the wasteland populace who are under their rule and, as such, it would take too much time and resources to train for and outfit them all with Advanced Power or as 4 would call it X-01 Armor.

This looks like what their common foot soldier (or as I think they'll call them: G.I.s (for patriotic reasons)) would use, and given the Enclave's advanced research and its resources, I'm gonna guess it offers high protection while being lightweight and durable. You know, I've been thinking of making a fan-fic of the enclave abandoning its genocidal views and starting a legitimate nation with a capital and settlements and trade routes rather than hiding in the shadows.
